Real Madrid vs Girona: Official Squad Announced For La Liga Match

 Real Madrid faces Girona at the Santiago Bernabeu, possibly looking to catch up with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, who are playing before its La Liga game.

Head coach Carlo Ancelotti has announced his squad for the home game against the Blanquivermells, and only one key player is missing.



Jude Bellingham is out due to suspension and sent off against Osasuna for dissent. The Englishman will miss this game and the Real Betis one.

Antonio Rudiger, David Alaba, and Lucas Vazquez all returned from injuries midweek, with Rudiger just starting the game. Vazquez could get the nod, with Fede Valverde rumored to be rested.

OJK optimistic of continued positive trend in financial sector in 2025

 The Financial Services Authority (OJK) expressed optimism that the positive trend in the financial sector's performance will continue in 2025, taking into account myriad challenges and opportunities as well as policies that will be adopted. OJK Board of Commissioners Chair Mahendra Siregar shared this outlook at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Financial Service Industry here on Tuesday, where he presented several performance projections for the financial services sector for 2025. "Bank credits are projected to grow by 9–11 percent, supported by a 6–8 percent growth of Third Party Funds. In the capital market, fundraising is targeted at Rp220 trillion (around US$13.4 billion)," he said.  SINGAPORE: On Monday (Feb 17), Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh will face the verdict in his trial for allegedly lying to the Committee of Privileges (COP). Deputy Principal District Judge Luke Tan is expected to deliver his decision at the State Courts, concluding a legal battle that began nearly a year ago when Singh was charged. The trial wrapped up on Nov 8, 2024. The 48-year-old chief of the Workers' Party (WP) faces two charges of wilfully making two false answers to the COP on Dec 10 and Dec 15, 2021, during an inquiry into a lie told in parliament by former WP MP Raeesah Khan.
